Art Camp is offering free places for children in the Summer Holidays.

WHAT: We provide sketchbooks and guidance, harnessing new skills and strengthening existing skills.

WHO: Award winning Qualified Teacher and BBC Judge ('Best House in Town') Greg McGee runs the sessions with a team of teenage assistants.

WHERE: English Martyrs Church Hall, Dalton Terrace, opposite the Mount School, is a fully furnished hall. There are parking spaces to enable ease of drop off and pick up.

WHEN: 10am to 3pm Monday 25th to Friday 29th June; Monday 1st, Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd of August; Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th of August

MORE: Age range is 5 - 15 years old. Lunch is provided. Please contact greg@accordingtomcgee.com if you have requirements. Clothes suitable for getting creative will be needed.

Endorphins

FREE Summer Session for eligible children aged 8 - 13 years old.

Plenty of fun and engaging themed sessions alongside our favourite Endorphins fun and games! Activities for all abilities and a great chance to have fun and make new friends.

Noise Academy

The Noise Academy joins forces with Door 84 - Youth and Community Centre to bring summer workshops learning DJ skills, Beats, Sports and Food. When you arrive you will be allocated to a group. York Theatre Royal

Creative workshops for young people aged 7-11 who would benefit from a positive place to be in the summer holidays. The sessions are for young people with an interest in drama and creativity who might not usually access sessions from York Theatre Royal.

The fun, free sessions are open to young people on free school meals or that have limited access or opportunity and would benefit from the chance to discover the arts.

The morning will include a creative workshop looking at some introductory theatre skills and end in a celebratory shared free lunch. A practitioner from York Theatre Royal will use drama and creative activities to encourage confidence and self-expression in a friendly and supportive way.

Absolutely no prior drama experience needed, we can’t wait to meet you!
