Registering to deliver funded entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.


Thank you for your interest to register for the delivery of Early Education Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

To proceed with your registration please complete the 'Early Years Declaration' form found on the right hand side panel and either return the form to: Early Years and Childcare Service, West Offices, Station Rise, York, YO1 6GA or email a scanned copy to:

When the paperwork has been received, the Early Years and Childcare Service will process your application and contact you with confirmation and important information regarding the funding process.

The Local Authority has a duty to ensure that all providers delivering the funded entitlement fully meet the requirements set out in the Department for Education “Early education and childcare - Statutory guidance for local authorities”, we therefore recommend you read this guidance which can also be found on the right hand side panel. 

The Early Years and Childcare Service provides information, advice and training to childcare providers and newly registered providers on the; Early Years Foundation Stage, Special Education Needs and Disabilities, vulnerable and disadvantaged children, funded two, three and four year olds, effective safeguarding and child protection. Support is prioritised to childcare providers who are judged less than ‘good’ to improve the overall effectiveness of provision.
