National Childbirth Trust (Nct)

Micklegate Ward, York

The York branch provides support for parents and parents-to-be locally, runs antenatal classes and organises various activities and events including the ever-popular Nearly New Sales. Our branch covers York and surrounding areas including Tadcaster, Market Weighton and Scarborough (LS24, YO1, YO10-14, YO17, YO19, YO23-24, YO26, YO30-32, YO41-43 and YO60).

The York branch is run by parents who donate their time and who are on hand to provide support for you in your life as a new parent. We're here to help you through pregnancy and early parenthood, continuing the NCT's work by providing a large local support network for you. Our fundraising events and donations help to raise valuable income for our training programmes, local support and information. So, whether it is membership, your time or fundraising, your support means that our work can continue.

See us as a huge support network to help you through pregnancy and early parenthood. For some people, that support may be attending our very popular antenatal classes, or contacting a breastfeeding counsellor. For others it's meeting new parents at coffee mornings, finding out about child-friendly cafes in York or escaping from the “little darlings” on a wild social night out! Your York branch organises all of these things!

Please contact us for more information or to find out where we're meeting.

Find us on Facebook by searching for the York NCT page, or follow us on Twitter @YorkNct for all the latest news and updates.
