Riding the Storm

Riding the Storm is a 4 week course that focuses on improving communication between parents and their teenagers.

Suitable for parents of 13 – 18s.

In 3 hour sessions,  it covers topics such as:

  • What you were like as a teenager?
  • What pressures there are for teenagers in the 21st century.
  • Labelling
  • Communication skills
  • Building self-esteem
  • Dealing with stress
  • Setting and keeping boundaries
  • Relationships between parents
  • Support mechanisms
  • Additional information around sex/drug awareness where needed
