York Castle Museum has an exciting Halloween experience for younger children, leading visitors through the history of Halloween including the origins of party games and traditions.

The Halloween Traditions and Family Tour is on Monday - Saturday at various times and costs £8. Visit the York Museum Trust's website for further details about tours and what is happening throughout the October half term holidays.

York Castle Museum has an exciting Halloween experience for children of all ages. For older teens and adults, do you dare visit the Witches Curator Tour

The Witches Curator Tour on Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday at various times and costs £18 per person. Visit the York Museum Trust's website for further details about tours and what is happening throughout the October half term holidays.

Mosaics

Age Range: 7-15 years

Day & info  Tuesday 27th October:  10.30am - 3pm at The Pottery Studio 40 Hempland Drive, York YO31 1AY.

Description:  You will learn how to design, layout, cut & create mosaics.  There will be a demonstration & assistance given to make your own individual pieces.  You can take home your work & grout next day.

Covid info:  Children will wash their hands upon entry.  Adults to drop off at door.  Tutor will wear a mask or visor.
