Family Intervention Project

Family Intervention Projects are a key part of Government policy to support families at risk. The projects use a twin-track approach of support alongside sanctions to provide families with the incentives to change.

Family Information Service

York Family Information Service is a free and impartial information service for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-19 (up to 25 with additional needs).

Charter for Disabled Children

York signed up to the Every Disabled Child Matters Charter. This has been replaced by a new City of York Charter for Disabled Children. It will be followed up in the near future by a new booklet called "Our promise" for parents of disabled children, that explains the new charter.

Healthy living doesn't just mean being physically active. It can be; mental health, eating well, sexual health, physical health.
