IT & Admin Support - Cherry Tree Nursery

Help with Snacks/Stories - Cherry Tree Nursery

- 1 hour + per day am (9.00am) or pm (3.00pm)for as many days as suits the applicant(s)
- preparation of snacks loading the dishwasher and general housekeeping (if possible someone to help with the monthly shop) and if you fancy reading the children a story or playing a game then that would be most welcome too.
Street Sport York
- Street Sport is a mobile sports and play facility that works across York running after school and weekend sessions for young people aged 5-18 years. We have a number of vehicles and a wide range of sports equipment plus a mobile skate park.
- We are looking for a volumteer to work with the team to set up and run sporting sessions at different venues across the city.
- Volunteer time commitment: Up to candidate, usually once per week early evening.
- Skills & experience required: Working with young people. Good communication skills. Patience. Sense of fun!
Playworker - Young Friends of Foxwood
- Young Friends of Foxwood is an exciting Play drop in session for children aged 5-12 years.
- If you have an interest in working with children and young people in a play setting, then this could be an ideal opportunity for you to gain some valuable Playwork experience.
- Monday and Wednesday 4 to 5.30 pm term time only

Volunteer Support Staff
- Do you enjoy cooking, art, music, sport and more? Would you want to share your enthusiasm with children and young people?
- York Early Years and Extended Schools Service is looking for volunteers to support the Extended Schools agenda. This involves schools and their partners providing out of school activities for children and young people aged between 0 - 22 years. This work would be a great way of earning experience and a possible route into paid work and qualifications. There are a range of positions and options available.
