Toy Bus

Following the last timetable, we have changed and expanded the stops the Toy Bus makes now that the new team have had a chance to become familiar with the service and the driving of the bus.

Our aim is to provide access to the bus to as many families across the city as possible.  So we have listened to feedback and the priorities of each Children's Centre and hope that this new timetable continues to provide accessible stops to families across the city.  It expands on the last timetable, continues with some popular stops, returned to some old favourites, and added a couple of new sessions.

We are always happy to receive feedback on the service, and ideas for the future, so please contact us on 01904 551754 or at toybus@york.gov.uk with any comments.

What is the Toy Bus?

The Toy Bus is a mobile toy library service. You can borrow good quality toys, books and equipment. It gives children a chance to try out a wide selection of items.

Play is enjoyable and helps children develop. Sharing play experiences with your child encourages development and helps form a close relationship.

The Toy Bus is also a place where advice and information can be found on play and toys.
