The YorOK Workforce Strategy
Over the next few years the YorOK Workforce Strategy Group will oversee the development and implementation of the YorOK Workforce Strategy.
The Workforce Strategy Group is a multi agency group of senior representatives from key agencies/sectors.
The group has recently produced Yorks first Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy - the YorOK Workforce Strategy. This sets out our vision and aspirations and uses the Childrens Workforce Development Council (CWDC) One Childrens Workforce Framework to outline our commitment to our children and young people's workforce and the key areas for development.
The strategy was approved by the YorOK Board in July 2009 and has now been launched. Find out more about the YorOK Workforce Strategy Launch.
You can download the strategy and related documents by clicking on the links below:

The strategy is intended as a starting point and a framework from which to build. Over the next year we will continue to seek the views of practitioners, managers, children, young people and families in order to inform its ongoing development.
If you have any questions, comments or views please contact Kate Helme, Strategic Workforce Development Officer, Children's Trust Unit.
