Arts Award is a flexible accredited programme which supports young people aged 16 – 25 around a series of arts based topics.smaller 2

NEW Art Peer Support Group starts September 2017 for 16 weeks Wednesdays 2 - 4 pm. Access by referral only www.yorkmind.org.uk/refer

With sessions taking place in a 1-1 setting, the course will look at taking part in an arts activity, going to an arts event, researching an artistic hero and sharing skills, ending in a nationally recognised accreditation. Throughout the course young people will be given the support to move into mainstream arts activities and to develop their own personal arts portfolio.

Young people will receive support from an Arts Award trained adviser as well as having access to support with their recovery through our 1-1 mentoring sessions.
