Lord Mayors Own (York) Scout Group

Clifton Ward, York

The group is open to boys and girls from 6 to 14 and adults 18+.
We are one of the oldest groups in York first opened in 1923 and have continued to grow and develop programmes which include a wide range of activity to provide fun, adventure, and challenge.
The group is run by volunteers who have DBS clearance for working with children. They also take part in a training program which advises on providing safe activities for children.
These include :- camping, trips and visits, sports, and all sorts of adventurous activities including hiking, climbing, water sports etc. They also have opportunity to earn badges and certificates to recognise their achievements, and learn how to become good citizens.

We have three groups: Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
Beaver Colony : Tuesday 6.30 -7.30 (6 - 8 year olds)
Cub Pack : Wednesday 6 - 7.00 (8 - 10 1/2 years old)
Scout Troup : Wednesday 7.30 - 9pm ( 10 1/2 - 14 year olds)

Charges are £10 per month (but flexible payment options are available).
