York Music Centre runs a wide range of group music making opportunities and small group tuition for ages 3 to 18 and all abilities - every week during term time. Instument hire also available.
Millthorpe School: Tuesdays 5pm -7pm, Wednesdays 4.30pm - 6.30pm, Saturday mornings 9:15 -1pm
All students have the opportunity to experience playing in informal and formal concerts throughout the year, both locally and regionally. For the more senior/advanced groups there is also the opportunity to play abroad during summer tours. There are often additional projects for various groups and all students have the opportunity to engage with Arts Award at all levels (Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver, Gold).
