Micklegate Ward, York

Regular Large Scale Art Workshops recommended for ages 5-10.
Lively activities that give children a freer environment to experiment with new techniques that tap into their creative side. We create both large scale collaborative work, as well as encouraging children to develop personal sketchbook work.
There is an element of movement work in what we do which aids working on a large scale.
The Art exercises are on a large scale and seek to encourage kids to be bold. Children will be introduced to a wide variety of art materials and medias.
Superb for kids with a keen interest in the arts and great for building confidence.
Running on the first and third Friday of the month. £8 in advance £10 on the door. Sibling offers available on advance bookings. Free parking on site.

    Inclusion statement

All childcare and services should make reasonable adjustments to support disabled children and young people or those with additional needs. Below is a statement from this provider about their inclusive practice and levels of experience of supporting different needs

The current workshops are not aimed at people with disabilities, however, in the near future I do hope to be providing a workshop for children with disabilities.
