New Children and Young People's Plan

We want York to be the best place to live and grow up and we want your views about how we should do this.

‘We’ are all the different people that work with children, young people and families. We are youth workers, children's centre staff, teachers, doctors, social workers and all other staff you may come across. Together we call ourselves ‘YorOK’.

We all work together to achieve the aims of the Children and Young People's Plan. We are writing a new Children and Young People's Plan and it is very important for you to tell us what matters to you and where you live. This is so we spend money and arrange services in the best way possible for children and young people.

This consultation is broken up into different sections and will take about 15 minutes to complete. Your answers will remain anonymous which means we can't tell who you are unless we think a child or young person may be at risk of harm.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation. The consultation fieldwork has now closed and we will be launching the new Children and Young People's Plan in January 2016.
