York Family Information Service
York Family Information Service is a free and impartial information service for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0 - 19. The team is based in the Early Years and Extended School's Sevice as part of City of York Council.
The Family Information Service can help with a wide range of things. Basically, if you're a parent or carer, have a question but don't know where to go then contact us!
What can the Family Information Service do?
New parent? New to the area?
If you’re a new parent or new to the area, you can make your life easier by joining our Information Scheme. You can register to receive packs of information and text messages when your child reaches key stages.
The packs contain information on healthy eating, child safety, parenting, activities, your child’s learning and development and much more. Each pack is tailored to the age of your child and where you live and the best thing is it’s completely free!
