York Parent Carer Forum aims to represent the views of families of children and young people who have: Physical and Sensory impairments, learning difficulties and those who have been identified with additional needs.
Membership includes up to four forum meetings per year with guest speakers, a regular newsletter with information about strategic meetings and the outcomes and details of events and activities you can attend .We also hold workshops to inform and seek views from members on a number of subjects and services such as Personal Budgets and Education and Health Care Plans.
York Carers Centre are a local independent charity who gives free help to unpaid carers living, or caring for someone who lives, in York. Support can be given over the phone, at the office, or we can arrange to see carers at home or in another suitable place.

If you are expecting a baby or have a child up to the age of 18 months old you can benefit from the NHS National Information Service for Parents. A service for mums and dads to help you access the best of NHS-accredited health information tailored to your stage of pregnancy or child's age.
