Equality and inclusion is about delivering fair services and achieving equitable life and employment outcomes, whilst respecting diverse needs and aspirations.

Equality is not about treating everyone the same. There can be no equality of opportunity unless diversity is recognised, valued and supported.

However, preventing discrimination against people isn’t enough, we also have to actively promote equality between different groups as well.
