Education
Tang Hall Primary School
We are a friendly primary school at the heart of the community. Becoming a Children’s Centre means those parents with children specifically in the 0-5 age range can meet with service providers to assist with any need that may arise. The service providers continue to work with families as the children progress up the educational ladder.
We are a lively school offering many extra curricular activities and out of hours school care is provided by Squirrels. Children come to school to learn but they also learn how to socialise with others, respect others and play. They can learn to play a musical instrument, take part in many physical and sporting activities and learn about what it means to be healthy. They also have the opportunity as they get older to go on a residential visit and most importantly become independent. We will always work with you, the parents, to get the best out of your child for your child. I am very aware that individual children develop at different stages and it is not a race. If you ever have something you wish to discuss about your child please do not hesitate to contact us and you will be directed to the right person for the particular situation. At the same time we will always contact you if there is something we believe you should know at any particular time. We have an Inclusion Mentor called Toni who does extremely valuable work with pupils and parents building links between home and school.
