The Children's Trust, known locally as YorOK, is a partnership of everybody in the city who works closely with children & young people. It is writing a ‘Children and Young People’s Plan'. This will describe how to make York a better place for children and young people.

The Children’s Trust wants to hear from you to make sure this plan includes the views of people living in York!

If you are a parent, carer or practitioner then you can also take part in the consultation through this website. You can fill in one of two consultations.

The questions are the same in both consultations but the longer one gives more background information to what is happening in York.

Involving and Consulting Toolkit

If you work with Children and Young People you can get involved with consulting for the new plan. You can do this by downloading a practitioner support pack from this website. The pack contains ideas about how you can gain feedback from children and young people. You can also download a powerpoint presentation giving useful background information to use when carrying out consultation.
