Have Your Say! What you can get involved with now
Children and Young People's Plan review - Take part and you could win £50!
The Children and Young People’s Plan is a plan that sets out how “we” will work to make York a place where every child and young person can reach their full potential and live their dreams. When we put the plan together in 2009 we asked lots of children and young people what was important to them and used this to put together the list of priorities. We want to know if you feel these are still important to you.
We are one year in to our three year plan and want to check how things are going. So if you think any of these priorities are important to you then put your tick next to it. You can tick as many as you want! By taking part you will automatically be entered into a prize draw for £50 of vouchers to spend at a shop of your choice!
The YorOK website—make it better
We want to hear from you what will make the YorOK website better. Take some time to look around and then fill in our online consultation to let us know what you think we need to do.
Show me that I matter!
Every month a group of young people who are (or have been) in care meet with some City of York Councillors. They talk about how things can be made better for Children and Young People who are Looked After. The group is called "Show me I matter!"
Top Tips
If you had to give top tips about being a parent what would it be? York Family Information Service and York Families are looking to bring together a collection of top tips to give out to parents and carers. Children don't come with a handbook so if you have top tips you would like to pass on please let us know!
