There are so many options available, it can be difficult to decide what to do.

You can talk to Connexions Careers Advisers in confidence about what's important to you. They can:

  • help you make realistic choices
  • support you in putting your plans into action.

How do you get to see a Connexions Careers Adviser?

They are in school/college on a regular basis. Ask your tutor, careers co-ordinator or Head of Year to request an interview.

Personal issues

If you want help or advice with personal issues, eg health, bullying or home, there are people at school/college who can help.

  • A teacher you get on well with
  • School Nurse
  • School Counsellor
  • Connexions Intensive Personal Adviser - you may be referred to another adviser who can offer regular support to a small number of young people.
