Most people leaving school/college with advanced/level 3 qualifications (eg A levels, BTECs and Diplomas, International Baccalaureate) go directly into Higher Education.

So why consider employment?

  • You've completed a vocational course and are keen to start work straight away.
  • You want to avoid the financial implications of a student loan and earn a salary.
  • You want to gain experience of work and life. Remember you can always take a higher education course in the future.

You need to be over 18 to undertake certain roles, eg hospitality and healthcare.
