Information Champions
What is an information champion?
As the name suggests an information champion is someone who can provide a point of contact to parents or carers looking for information in children’s centres. The responsibility of being an information champion is often that of the receptionist as they are the first person you will meet at a children’s centre. This is so when a parent comes into the centre and says, “How do I find out about…” the information champion is able to get the best possible information for that person.
It is really important that an information champion knows what is happening at each centre so that they can make sure families can be informed.
Who is the information champion for each centre?
There will be an information champion for each of the 9 children's centres in York. Below you can find information about who is the current champion for each centre.
