Welcome to the YorOK Induction self assessment.

The purpose of this self assessment is to allow you to assess your knowledge and understanding against seven key areas that have been identified as important for members of the YorOK children and young people's workforce.

After completing the self assessment you will be shown a RAG (red, amber, green) assessment of your current knowledge, and be directed to appropriate information, resources and training which you can undertake to improve your skills and knowledge in relevant areas.

If you enter your email address you will receive an email with this RAG assessment, and will be able to access this at a later date to evaluate and demonstrate the development of your skill, knowledge and understanding.

You may also want to discuss your results with a manager, development worker or colleague. There is an option to email a copy of these results.

We have tried to identify areas that are important across the children and young people's workforce. The purpose of the results is to provide you with information and resources that will support you in your role. However there may be some areas that you feel are not relevant for your particular role. You may want to discuss this with a manager/colleague/development worker and leave out where appropriate.

Your individual results will only be seen by yourself and a manager/development worker where you have requested that they receive a copy. Anonymised and collated data will only be used to inform the planning of training and development opportunities for the children and young people's workforce.

Tip:If there is more information about an area or item you can move your cursor over the icon to see it.
