YorOK Workforce Strategy
The YorOK Children's Trust Board recognises the critical role of the children and young people's workforce in achieving the vision set out in the children and young people's plan that every child and young person in York can reach their full potential and live safe, happy and fulfilled lives.
The YorOK Workforce Strategy Group wanted to develop an integrated children and young people's workforce strategy that would support the whole workforce, across a diverse range of organisations and sectors, to be able to work in an increasingly integrated way.
Our aim is to support the workforce to be:
- ambitious for every child and young person to reach their full potential;
- excellent in their practice;
- committed to partnership and integrated working;
- respected and valued as practitioners;
- dedicated to keeping children and young people safe.
