Eligibility*

Any newly recruited social workers who are within 6 months of graduating from their BA/BSc/MA degree in Social Work

Commitment from Childrens Social Care**

To provide appropriate funding for any courses/conferences identified for you by your line manager.To provide you with an individual training and development plan, which will be reviewed after 3 months, and also after 12 months.To provide you with regular supervision – every two weeks for the first three months, and every four weeks thereafter.To protect your caseload appropriately.To provide you with individual tutorial support from Huddersfield University

Expectations of individuals*** 

To actively participate in the programme and complete the process of professional development, compiling evidence of it in a portfolio
