CWDC Training, Support and Development (TSD) Standards for Short Break Carers

Eligibility*

Short Break Carers in preparation and assessment, and in the 12 months following approval or from taking up their role 

Commitment from Children and Families**

To provide advice and support through a Short Breaks Worker to help assess individual strengths, and also any knowledge or experience gaps, and to structure training and other learning opportunities to address any needs.

Expectations of individuals*** 

To participate in induction and core training programme activities.
