Multi-Agency Settings and Partnerships
Partnerships
Yor-OK is our Children’s Trust arrangement and is a partnership of organisations responsible for services for children, young people and families. These organisations share a commitment to improve children’s lives and to work together to ensure every child has his or her needs met.
Partnerships are encouraged to conduct equality impact assessments and should focus on looking at strategies, policies, and action plans.
Any impact assessments completed should be shared with partnership members.
Partnerships should look to assess:
- Does the partnership address the needs of disadvantaged groups and the equality strands?
- How do you do this?
- Do you consult with disadvantaged groups?
- How do you use the feedback?
- How are equality issues reflected in the partnerships aims and values?
- Does the action plan contain equality objectives and actions?
- How do you monitor the outcome of these objective or aims and values?
Multi-Agency Settings
Some of the Yor-OK workforce will be working in multi-agency settings or working with a variety of agencies frequently.
When conducting an equality impact assessment consideration needs to be given to how this setting might impact on equality and diversity, both for a workforce and as a service.
