Child protection procedures

 

The procedures have been agreed by as a framework for joint agency working in safeguarding children within the City of York (CoY). 

The procedures are based on the statutory guidance, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2010, reasearch and good practice.

Staff who are or may be involved in safeguarding children need to have a working knowledge of these documents and to refer to relevant sections as needed.

It should be noted that over time procedures and guidance change. It is thererfore essential to check this section prior to taking any action
