Parenting Handbooks Children don't come with a handbook! The Family Information Service have asked parents and carers for their 'top tips' to pass onto others. Every family is unique so these tips won't work for every different type of family but you may find something that you can use.
Family Cooking

 

"Children need regular meals and snacks. Better to have some healthy snacks than a hungry child."

"Try to keep calm and try not to loose your rag. Try to develop strategies to cope with your stress."  and "Be willing to accept offers of help and support"

Look at what parenting groups and services are available to help you build up your options when handling stress.
