Parent Support Advisers in York

There are currently three clusters of schools in York that have Parent Support Advisers (PSAs). The PSAs have been in post since the beginning of 2010 and have already supported many children, parents and families in their areas. They can:

• Help identify your strengths and build on them, as well as helping with the things you are struggling with
• Identify other services that can help and support you and your family
• Provide a safe, confidential space and time to listen
• Help you to build a stronger relationship with the school and your child
