Westfield Primary Community  School  

We are a large, friendly primary school in the heart of the community. Becoming a Children’s Centre means those parents with children specifically in the 0 – 4 age range can meet with service providers to assist with any need that may arise. The service providers continue to work with families as the children progress up the educational ladder.

We are a trailblazer extended school offering many extra-curricular activities and out of school hours care. Full details are available from the school. Children come to school to learn but they also “learn” how to socialise with others, respect others and play. They can take up an instrument, take part in many physical and sporting activities and learn about what it means to be healthy. They also have the opportunity as they get older to go on residential visits and most important of all, become independent. We will always work with you, the parents, to get the best out of your child, for your child. I am very aware that individual children develop at different stages and it is not a race. If ever you have something you wish to discuss about your child, please do not hesitate to contact us and you will be directed towards the right person for the particular situation. At the same time, we will always contact you if there is something we believe you should know at any particular time.
