Tuesday Toddlers

Tuesday: Tuesday Toddlers is a free weekly open group led by a group of Parent Volunteers, open to children under the age of 5. For more details please contact Janet Jacobi on 07957 361117.

Time And Space During Pregnancy (The Avenues)

Thursday: Time and Space in Pregnancy Thursday 1.15-2.45pm Have a cuppa and a chat with other Mums to be, see a midwife and find out more about anything to do with pregnancy, labour and beyond! Tang Hall Drop In

Friday: Friday 1.00-2.30pm at Tang Hall Community Centre A free weekly drop in open to all with children under 5. Health Visitor is available. Please contact Sharon Wilson (07795 291278) for further details.

Toy Bus At The Avenues (Derwent Primary School)

Wednesday: The toy bus is a mobile toy library which offers good quality toys, books and play equipment for members to borrow. There is also help, advice and information available on play and toys. The toy bus is for families, childminders, playgroups, nurseries and other children's groups aimed at children aged between birth and 5 years. One year's membership is: £3.00 for families £7.50 for childminders £12.00 for nurseries and other groups Families can borrow 2 items per child for a 2 week period. Childminders can borrow up to 5 items in total for a 4 week period. Nurseries and groups can borrow up to 10 items in total for a 6 week period. The Toy Bus will be visiting Derwent Primary School on Wednesday April 18th, May 2nd, 16th & 30th,June 13th & 27th, July 11th. The bus will be attend the school at 11am -12pm on all dates. Speech And Language Drop In At The Avenues

Monday: If you're worried about your child's speech and language development you can now visit a Drop-In Session. The sessions are run by Speech and Language Therapists who will chat through any concerns that you may have about your child. Supporting your child's speech and language skills is one of the most important things you can do as a parent. No appointment necessary, just call in on the first Monday of the Month - 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m (2nd July, 6th Aug, 3rd Sept, 1st Oct, 5th Nov, 3rd Dec)

Monthly Dad's Group

Saturday: 2nd Saturday per month 10.00 -12.00am. Open to all male carers: dads/uncles/granddads Contact Sandra on 07768 130665 or Rachel 07768 130664 for more information. Taking place at St Lawrence Children Centre.

Outdoor Explorers

Tuesday: Meet at St Nicholas Field, Park. 1.30-2.30. From Wednesday 18th April for 6 Weeks until 23rd May. Explore St Nicholas Field and Nature Walk. Open to all under 5’s Come and join in with the FREE fun, whatever the weather, and explore with your senses. We will be giving you ideas for Winter Activities. Please come in appropriate clothing for the weather. Children’s centre staff will be available after the session for support and advice. Baby Massage At Derwent
