Changes to Service

Please note we are closed on Monday 4th June and Tuesday 5th June for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday. We re-open Wednesday 6th June 8.30am.

And due to Half Term Holidays,  Bell Farm Playtime is closed on Thursday 7th June - open again on Thursday 14th June.

Stay & Play is back!

Tuesday mornings, 9.30am-11.00am. Come and meet other parents and carers, with play opportuities for your child 0-5 years.

Healthy Start Vitamins

If you have a Healthy Start voucher for either Vitamins for Women or Vitamin Drops for Children, you can redeem your voucher at the Centre. We are open 8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Baby Self Weigh, Breastfeeding and Nappy Change Area

We now have new scales for you to self-weigh your baby. Feel free to call into the Centre at any time between 8.30am-4.30pm to self weigh, breastfeed or use the changing facilities.

We also have a trained breastfeeding support worker based at the Centre. 

Childminder Group

Our Childminder Group at Haxby Road Children's Centre has now moved to Wednesday mornings, 9:30am-11:00am. Open to all Childminders in the area, for further details contact 01904 675690.

Small Talk

Small Talk is a six week course for a group of parents and carers with children 12-24 months to learn ways of supporting your child's language development. To book a place contact 01904 675690.

Babes In Arms 

Are you under 19 and a parent? 

Every Wednesday 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Come to a post natal group at Space 109 in Walmgate, its 100yrds from Walmgate bar on your left hand side just after the Tudor black and white building.  Fun sessions plus advice and guidance from a range of people to support you after having your babies.  There are sessions on fun with food, play and stimulation, baby massage and communicating with your baby.  We also welcome dads, mums and babies.  Its very informal, come for cuppa and a chat it's free.
