Community Dental Service

The Community Dental Service is a specialist dental service that provides dental treatments to the community including specialising with children and adults who have a physical or mental disability. The service covers all of North Yorkshire and is split in to 4 different areas, including Selby and York District.

The service is different from other dental practitioners because they are able spend more time with patients if necessary and can offer sedation if visiting the dentists proves a very stressful experience for the patient.

Some people may be able to receive free dental treatments. Please see the exemption list on the right hand side of this page.

Residents who live in York can access the centre at Monkgate by calling 01904 725422.
